SWAP 2008 .....

It has been a long time since I post anything here sorry for the lapse.
I am now retired took a early retirement option I just did not enjoy the job anymore and it was oftered and John told me to take it..

Now I want to spend time doing some sewing and the such. I would like to try the Timmel SWAP 2008, I know last year I never finished just lost interest I guess.

Here is a story board I have put together so far for my SWAP I have only added the fabrics for the pants the two that look kind of gray in the picture are stretch denim which want to use for a pair of pants and a skirt. The other fabric is a stretch velveteen in brown I want to use for Loes Hinse Euros.
The denim pants I want to use one the hotpatterns patterns the razor pants or the jeans pants. The one skirt will be from hotpattens superfly skirt the shorter version.

My wardrobe pattern I want to use is NEW Look 6735 I want to make the cardign, pants t-shirts both the long sleeve and a short sleeve from some knits I have figured out which knits in my stash to use at this time.

The long sleeve shirt pattern is Sandra Betzina today's fit pattern I guess I need to get busy and figure out what fabrics from my stash I will be using and hopefully get some sewing done..

This SWAP is going to be a more of a retiree type SWAP easy to wear clothes that look nice.

I don't have a name for it yet.

Finished garments for Wardrode contest.

The turquiose top is made from nylon/lycra fabric I got from Emma's One Sock, the pattern is Loes Hinse Marselles top with the tie on it. I modified the pattern a bit instead of turning under the neck and stitching I cut a strip of fabric long enough to go around the neck creating ties.
The black and brown fabric with flower print is slinky I got from a small indy fabric store here in town. The pattern is Loes Hinse cowl neck top with out the cowl (of course) I cut about an additional inch down in the front neck just didn't care for the high neck.

These pants are made from Dark brown slinky using the Loes Hinse Euro pants pattern. I have three items not completed and I am working on item number 4 today the cowl neck top from Simplicity pattern.
